Mathematics is considered the cornerstone of scientific and intellectual development for humanity, as no scientific progress can be imagined without relying, at some stage, on data and information derived through mathematical processing. For this reason, the Department of Mathematics was the first to be established within the college. The department offers courses in both pure and applied mathematics, aiming to graduate a generation equipped with beneficial knowledge that serves society. Professors, associate professors, assistant professors, and their assistants from various nationalities contribute to the teaching mission of the department.
