Program objectives

  1. To provide students with fundamental knowledge in the three branches of biology: zoology, botany, and microbiology.
  2. To help students acquire essential skills in biology.
  3. To establish a strong foundation for a successful career as a biology teacher.
  4. To offer foundational knowledge that supports continued postgraduate studies.
  5. To provide opportunities for studying advanced concepts and techniques in biology.
  6. To keep students informed about developments in biology, such as genetic engineering, cloning, and new microbial pathogens.
  7. To help students develop character-building and teamwork skills.
  8. To set standards for evaluating the performance and commitment of faculty and staff, ensuring their job satisfaction and documenting the relationship between students and faculty.
  9. To describe and develop the organizational and administrative structure of the department, incorporating modern communication and information technology.
